LINH is a fantasy universe inspired by Vietnam’s spiritual culture, where the boundary between the living and non-living world has always existed. Only Sorcerers can communicate with spirits that connect the two worlds, where they resolve resentments and maintain a fine balance. When the power is abused, Dark Sorcerers appear and endanger both realms.
LINH: Wandering Soul City is the world-building of the LINH universe, and delves into the operating principles of how the world works. Taking place in modern times, an anonymous Sorcerer posts a video online titled “How to See Ghosts”, activating the “third eye” of many unexpecting viewers and reigniting spirituality back in daily life. The story continues with a reality TV show where hidden Sorcerers gather to cleanse the evil spirits at Van Son Mountain, but the campaign goes awry as the undisclosed motives and forces behind the campaign are revealed. Each episode in the animated series will run for approximately 17 minutes.
The feature animated film will bring the audience to the origins of the LINH universe, taking place hundreds of years ago. The film’s concept was posted on Sino Studio’s YouTube channel in early 2026 to a receptive audience. Aiming for a 100-minute runtime, the animated feature film will use frame-by-frame technology with the artists leveraging Clip Studio Paint software. The film’s background art will be done through a combination of hand-drawn watercolor paintings and digital art software.

One of the project’s artworks was created using watercolor on paper, then scanned and refined digitally.
The first episode of LINH: Wandering Soul City has a scripted storyline and is currently in the storyboarding phase. We aim to raise 300 million VND to complete the first episode of LINH: Wandering Soul City and release it to audiences by the end of 2026.
Most readers of SiNo Studio learned about the world of LINH through the concept trailer of the animated feature film project LINH: Underworld Soul Hunt. Creating a feature-length animated work for theatrical release has always been SiNo Studio’s goal.
An anime theatrical feature film with an average production budget could cost up to 3-4 million USD. Even if cost-saving options are chosen, the figure still ranges from 1-1.2 million USD for production. Given the large investment from a distributor or investor, Sino Studio is working towards a theatrical release through three key steps:
Therefore, we are creating LINH: Wandering Soul City as a series released on an online distribution platform. A web series product does not require as much upfront capital like feature films. Leveraging the internet and ability for content to spread easily, we are hoping to cultivate a strong domestic and international audience to want more from the LINH universe.
2D frame-by-frame animation production is a cost-intensive style. The average quote for 2D frame-by-frame animation in Vietnam currently ranges from 8-10K USD (or ~200 to 250 million VND) per minute. To expedite production, the IP owner needs to coordinate and outsource with various domestic animation studios while ensuring all project partners meet deadlines. By setting a fundraising goal of 300 million VND, SiNo Studio is utilizing funds raised for essential expenses only and investment on our own internal resourcing.
SiNo Studio will produce the First Episode of LINH: Wandering Soul City, deliver reward gifts to backer supporters, and stream the First Episode online. The crowdfunding results, audience support, and overall quality of the First Episode will serve as strong evidence of the potential of the LINH universe IP. SiNo Studio will leverage these achievements to convince Investors and Distributors to confidently invest towards subsequent goals, including further Wandering Soul City episodes to build an active audience community, and ultimately the theatrical feature film LINH: Underworld Soul Hunt. Your support forms the foundational bricks helping us build the world of LINH together.

I am Le Van Vu, alias Vu Sino. I have a passion for visual storytelling. I started drawing comics in the 2nd grade. By 8th grade, I began creating my first animated clips using the FlipaClip app on my mother’s old iPhone and uploaded them to my personal YouTube channel (SiNo Studio). In 11th grade, I collaborated with streamer Duong FG to release the Journey to the West GenZ project. This series attracted tens of millions of views on YouTube and strengthened my determination to pursue an animation career. Alongside animation, I found joy in composing music. I started posting music videos I composed and animated myself.
Several music videos I composed received great support from the community. The animated music video “Immortal Boy,” which I composed, drew, and animated myself at age 18, was fortunate enough to receive enthusiastic support from audiences and has gained nearly 20 million views on YouTube.
Ever since I was little, I have always been curious about spiritual rituals such as worshiping, burning votive paper, or practicing religion. I often asked myself very naive questions: Do the deceased really receive what we send down to them? Does inflation exist in the underworld? When people pass away, do they really go to hell, and how is society organized down there? I believe that not only myself, but many young people also do not fully understand the true meaning of spiritual culture, worshiping rituals, or the concept of karma.

To me, spiritual culture contributes to forming a moral foundation, helping each person distinguish right from wrong and remember the principle of “when drinking water, remember the source.” I created LINH: Wandering Soul City with the desire to produce a quality animated work built from Vietnamese cultural and spiritual elements. This is a fictional work, so the project does not aim to portray all beliefs as absolute truths. Instead, we convey the observations, questions, and imagination of young people as an approach to understanding, explaining, and connecting with spiritual culture.
With the desire to bring LINH to Vietnamese audiences, in 2026, I founded SiNo Studio, gathering like-minded artist friends to build the LINH universe.
With new team members as well as the partnership of fellow studios, recently released products continue to attract audiences.
At the end of July 2026, the music video “Lam Sao De Em Tua Vao,” a song I composed and directed, attracted over 1 million views in nearly a month since release and received praise from the audience.

“LINH” first and foremost evokes the soul—the core of the story’s world—while carrying a sacred connotation deeply tied to Vietnamese spiritual life. The name is concise, memorable, and well-suited for building a long-term IP universe.
In the world of LINH, the living realm and the underworld co-exist side by side. Sorcerers are individuals capable of communicating with spirits, bridging the two worlds, appeasing grudges, and maintaining balance. However, this power can also be abused; dark Sorcerers emerge, bringing forth perils that threaten both realms. The operating rules between the living world and the underworld: The underworld exists as a parallel society to the living realm, complete with its own management system, order, and currency of exchange—wherein “merit” is regarded as a accumulated form of value for the soul. Human beings become spirits after death; those governed by resentment can turn into evil spirits or demons.
Sorcerer System / Powers / Limitations:

Sorcerers have the ability to control both energy sources, communicate with spirits, and use talismans and spiritual artifacts during rituals. This ability remains limited by each individual’s physical condition, knowledge, and level of control.
Vietnamese cultural and spiritual concepts explored: worship, votive paper, graves, physiognomy, spiritual destiny, talismans, spiritual artifacts, sacred statues, effigies, reincarnation, and the existence of aggrieved spirits. The project approaches these elements through a youth fictional perspective, without treating them as the sole or absolute interpretation of belief.
Setting & Time: Present-day Vietnam. The story unfolds primarily within a hospital and atop Mount Van Son – an infamous peak steeped in eerie hauntings, now serving as the filming ground for a reality show that gathers renowned spiritual masters.

The story opens at a hospital. Psychiatrist Heli meets a special patient. According to records, the patient shows no obvious abnormal behavior, yet was admitted for treatment by their family after watching a video titled “How to See Ghosts” posted by a mysterious Sorcerer. The story then shifts to Van Son Mountain. Here, Sorcerers participate in a reality TV show after passing multiple selection rounds. Their announced mission is to cleanse and capture the evil spirits residing on the mountain. The campaign is backed by major corporations and introduced as an activity to connect the public with spiritual culture, bringing the Sorcerers’ exorcism journey closer to the audience. However, the true motive behind the show is known only to those behind the scenes. Trouble arises when the spirits at Van Son prove far stronger than anticipated, placing the participating Sorcerers in grave danger and forcing them to confront the secret behind the entire operation.
Long is the central character of the series LINH: Wandering Soul City and represents the journey of finding the line between right and wrong. A young man carrying Demon Blood in his body; Long’s blood is a terrifying weapon. When applied, his eyes can see ghosts, and his hands can punch right through demons.
When conducting crowdfunding on the Comicola platform, SiNo Studio will send you exclusive reward gifts produced by the studio corresponding to each backer milestone.
For us, Linh is a big gamble. We want to change the assumption that Vietnamese animation is only for children. Not many teams dare to develop original IP at this time. Animation studios are trying hard to announce their own IPs, but it has never been simple. Please lend us a part of your strength and trust! We, a team of like-minded artists, will give 200% effort to deliver the highest quality Vietnamese animated films.
